Fill or Wait does not collect personal information. There is no account to create, no form to fill in and nothing to sign up for.
What we store about you
Nothing. The site has no accounts, no sign in, no comments and no contact form, so there is nothing for us to keep. You can read every page without telling us anything about yourself.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts, so nothing follows you between visits and nothing about your visit is shared with anyone.
What a page loads
Two things are fetched while a page is open.
- The forecast itself, a small file called latest.json, which comes from this site.
- The Nunito typeface, which comes from Google Fonts. That means Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads, because that is how the font is delivered. We ask Google for nothing else and receive nothing back.
Server logs
Whoever hosts this site keeps its own standard record of requests, which usually includes IP addresses and which pages were served. Those records belong to the host and exist to run and protect the site. We do not use them to build a picture of individual visitors.
Where the forecasts come from
The forecasts are built from public New Zealand pump price data published by MBIE and from international fuel market prices. None of that data is about you, and nothing about your visit goes into it.
Changes to this page
If any of the above changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
